The Glute Bridge is a common rehab exercise that in my experience is too difficult to be done properly at early stages. Unless you have being working on hip and glute function or have been doing some more simple rehab first, I would opt for a Prone Glute Raise initially and ad a simple plank or other core brace to get some foundation before moving to this. The video describes how to do this exercise perfectly. It should be very challenging, even for the most fit individuals when done properly.
