Amy graduated from the Grant MacEwan 2200 hour massage therapy program in 2008 and has been a member in good standing with the Massage therapist Association of Alberta (MTAA) since then. After graduation, Amy spent the first 6 years of her career working at a sports facility gaining experience from an amazing multidisciplinary team.
Amy’s initial interest in sports and wellness came from competing with sprint kayaking. Amy was a member of the Alberta Sprint Canoe and Kayak team for 8 years. She is now actively involved with the St. Albert Canoe and Kayak club’s paddle ability program working as a coach.
Amy has a special interest in therapeutic, sports and pre and postnatal massages although she also offers deep tissue and relaxation massage. She has taken specialized courses in treating Jaw pain (TMJ dysfunction), pregnancy concerns, Graston Technique, and more.
