Katelyn Fleming - Registered Psychologist
Katelyn Fleming is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologist. She completed her Master of Counselling and is member of the Psychologist Association of Alberta and the Canadian Psychological Association.
Katelyn has worked with at risk youth and families for the past ten years in a variety of settings. This has helped inform her transition into psychology and her role as a counsellor. She is compassionate, genuine and non-judgemental. She is passionate about counselling and assisting individuals (age 13+) impacted by trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, to find healing and uncover their potential for a happy and healthy life.
Katelyn’s theoretical approach is influenced by person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness self-compassion, and somatic experiencing. Katelyn is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Level 1 (couples counselling), and Short-Term Dynamic Therapy. Katelyn believes that change is possible and strives to work with people to find what works best for them to uncover their best self and optimize the life they are living.
